Hours of work: Monday to Friday 10am to 5pm

COURSE overview
This week long course gives students the opportunity to make a corset chosen from four different periods (Tudor, 18th century, 1860s, 1890s) using given pattern blocks.
The student will be instructed in how to make the corset using traditional theatrical methods with steel boning, Courtil, and a choice of fabrics.
The wardrobe department is equipped with both domestic and industrial sewing machines.
Small classes ensure plenty of one-to-one teaching. The course is aimed at those who want to expand their knowledge and skills within this area.
Students should be able to sew to a good standard and be able to use a sewing machine competently.
